Nina Lilja
Director

Dr. Nina Lilja, Ph.D., serves as director for the Climate Resilient Cereals Innovation Lab.
A professor in agricultural economics, Associate Dean Lilja served nationally as chair and executive council member of the International Agriculture Section of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
Lilja also serves as the associate dean for International Agricultural Programs in the K-State College of Agriculture, where she administers and provides leadership and vision for the development and implementation of effective, science-based international agricultural programs.
Before joining K-State in 2008, she spent 12 years working for the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). She was stationed in West Africa and Latin America, where she led and evaluated global agricultural research projects focused on food security and poverty alleviation.
