Help for K-Staters in crisis

The Kansas State University family remains strong and committed to helping each other through hardships. Many resources are available to help K-Staters in crisis.

Students

K-State's Office of Student Financial Assistance has developed a one-stop website of resources available for students with financial emergencies. The website includes information about Student Emergency Grants, Student Emergency Loans and the K-State Proud Student Opportunity Award. Students should also reach out directly to their financial aid counselors to ask about resources.

Employees

Employees experiencing financial hardships because of COVID-19 furloughs may apply for grant funds — up to $700 — online or in the KSU Foundation's lobby, 1800 Kimball Ave. This money is available through the #KStateStrong Emergency Response Fund.

Cats' Cupboard

The Cats' Cupboard initiative provides direct food access through a food pantry for students and employees. Cats' Cupboard has moved to an online order form and is not open for drop-in visits.
