Face coverings

Policy

Face coverings are optional for all individuals on Kansas State University campuses and at university events. Individuals who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing face coverings. Unvaccinated students, faculty and staff who can receive the COVID-19 vaccine are strongly encouraged to do so.

Masking requirements remain in effect for the following groups and settings:

  • Lafene Health Center and other patient-facing settings.
  • K-State Center for Child Development.
  • University shuttles due to Department of Transportation policy.

The guidance is based on information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
