Building spaces are being assessed and measures are being taken to encourage physical distancing at places of potential close contact.
Indoor workspaces, classrooms, laboratories, study areas, dining facilities, reception areas and other common gathering spaces should be arranged to accommodate 6-feet physical distancing. Various methods may be used to accommodate physical distancing requirements, including furniture configuration, blocking off spaces, establishing work or class attendance rotations. The furniture configurations set to accommodate 6-feet physical distancing should not be rearranged.
Building entrances/exits and classroom entrances/exits may be designated in/out to coordinate traffic flow and encourage physical distancing. Stairwells may also be designated as one-way, up or down traffic to reduce close contact. Signage will be posted.
Elevators will be designated as a place of potential close contact and appropriate signage will be posted at each elevator in the respective facility. Individuals should use the stairs whenever possible. Elevator occupancy may be limited to allow for additional spacing between occupants. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon departing the elevator.
Educational and informational signage will be posted throughout our campuses.
