RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Thesis research Microbial Laboratory, Hebei Normal University of Science & Technology, 09/2007-07/2011, Project Investigated the luminous bacteria separated from seawater.
Thesis research Modern Microbial Technology Laboratory, Hunan Normal University, 09/2011-07/2014, Project Fabricating biosensors to detect pathogens, treating wastewater contaminated with heavy metal by bacteria, investigating the application of aptamer for the quorum sensing.
1. Utilized lab synthesized nano materials, such as quantum dot and carbon nanoparticles (CNPs), to fabricate convenient and high sensitive biosensors.
2. Selected special nucleic acid sequences through a vitro systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX) to fabricate convenient and high sensitive biosensors.
3. Synthesized and bio-functionalized the carbon nano-materials (primarily focus on Carbon nano-particles) to improve the stability and the fluorescence properties.
4. Investigated the treatment of heavy metal in effluent by sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB).
5. Selected the aptamer of signaling molecules for adjusting the quorum sensing and the formation of biofilm.
