For Parents

The Center recognizes that parents are children's first and most important teachers. Parents have an opportunity to partner with staff and teachers to aid in their child's development.

Together, we can give children exactly what they need to become successful, lifelong learners. We prioritize this connection in some of the following ways:

  • Communicating with families each day during drop off and pick up.

  • Keeping families up to date through family boards in each classroom, newsletters, daily sheets, phone calls and emails.

  • Parent-teacher conferences, held twice a year, to share progress and discuss each child's individual goals. Parents may also request a conference at any time of the year.

  • The center's open-door policy invites parents into the classroom at any time during the day. Families are welcome to eat lunch with their child, read to the class or help with a special activity at any time of day.
