2021 Ice-Barrett Champions Award

This award is meant to honor a campus K-State member and community K-State member who have "championed the mission" of Cats’ Cupboard. The mission of the Cats’ Cupboard is providing access to nutritious food and support through initiatives that promote health, success, and well-being. Recipients create a noticeable impact to help make Cats’ Cupboard a successful and productive resource for K-State students.

Students, faculty, staff, and community members can make a nomination(s). You may nominate others or provide a self-nomination.

Award recipients exemplify one or a combination of the following qualities.

Time- Volunteering time, length of service, milestones crossed, demonstrates consistent support.
Talent- Excellence in performance, communication, leadership, event planning, knowledge expertise.
Treasure- Providing major gifts, identifying corporate gifts, writing grants, in-kind donations.

One (1) Campus Ice-Barrett Champions Award :The campus award will be given to one current K-State student, faculty, or staff member.
One (1) Community Ice-Barrett Champions Award: The community award will be given to one individual who has no work or academic affiliation with K-State. This may include but is not limited to volunteers, community members, alumni, parents and family of students.

Winners will be selected through an awards committee made up of one (1) graduate student, one (1) ambassador representative, one (1) representative from the K-State Foundation and at least two (2) Cats’ Cupboard Advisory Board members.
