The space

The initiative will include the Biomanufacturing Laboratory and Training Facility to be housed in the Carl and Melinda Helwig Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in Seaton Hall. The 2,300-square-foot facility will feature modern biomanufacturing lab equipment to support hands-on training and complementary analytical techniques.

The space and courses will produce a robust pipeline of talent to the expanding biomanufacturing industry in Kansas and beyond by providing students with practical training and skills, as well as to foster collaborative relationships between K-State and industry stakeholders.
