June 28th, 2025

The K-State Marching Pride Classic Golf Tournament is an annual fundraising event dedicated to supporting the talented members of the Kansas State University Marching Band, known as the Pride of Wildcat Land. Held at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kansas, this tournament brings together alumni, fans, and community members for a day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy.

All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Marching Pride Scholarship Fund, providing financial assistance to students pursuing music education and performance opportunities within the K-State Marching Band. Over the years, the tournament has raised significant funds, making a meaningful impact on the lives of these dedicated students.

More than $150,000 has been raised during the past 13 years for scholarship assistance for K-State Marching Band Members through the Marching Pride Scholarship.

A third-year student wrote, “I want to sincerely thank you for your support in the Marching Pride Scholars of the Pride of Wildcat Land. I am fortunate enough to receive one of these scholarships this year as a junior in the marching band. Your support will help me in my pursuit of music education and performances as a clarinet player and assistant drum major in the KSUMB. Your support makes a difference.”
