The Kansas State University Summer Music Camp offers a comprehensive and enriching experience for young musicians in grades 5 through 11. Running from June 8th to June 12th, the camp focuses on enhancing musical skills and fostering personal growth through full ensemble rehearsals, sectional practices, and specialized music classes tailored to individual levels.
Participants will engage in collaborative performances, culminating in a final concert that showcases their progress. The camp also includes supervised recreational activities and social events that promote camaraderie among students. Resident campers will stay in K-State’s modern Wefald Hall and dine at the Kramer dining center, experiencing a taste of college life.
Led by a dedicated team of K-State faculty, staff, and accomplished student musicians, the camp emphasizes both individual development and teamwork. With a commitment to inspiring young musicians, the staff will ensure a supportive environment throughout the camp. Meals are provided cafeteria-style, with options for those preferring to pay cash for individual meals. All activities are closely supervised to guarantee a safe and rewarding experience for all participants.
