K-State Drumline

Feel the Pulse. Hear the Power.

The K-State Drumline is the heartbeat of the Pride of Wildcat Land—a dynamic, high-energy section that brings unmatched intensity and spirit to every performance. Whether driving the pulse of a stadium halftime show or igniting crowd energy at pep rallies, the K-State Drumline is known for excellence in performance, innovation, and Wildcat pride.

Auditions

Auditions for the drumline take place each spring and are open to all K-State current and incoming students. The audition process focuses on rhythm accuracy, technique, and the ability to play within a team-oriented ensemble.

2026 Drumline audition process and packets will be posted in spring 2026

If you have any questions, reach out to drumline director and graduate assistant Javi Garza.

Clinics and Camps

Each summer, the K-State Drumline hosts clinics and a multi-day Drumline Mini-Camp open to incoming and returning members. These events are a great way to improve technique, connect with other percussionists, and prepare for auditions and the season ahead.
