K-State Marching Band
The K-State Marching Band, affectionately known as The Pride of Wildcat Land, is a dynamic ensemble that brings energy, precision, and Wildcat spirit to every performance. Comprised of students from diverse academic backgrounds, the band is a cornerstone of K-State's game day traditions, delivering electrifying halftime shows and rallying the crowd with beloved tunes like "Wildcat Victory" and "Wabash Cannonball" .
Under the leadership of Dr. Frank Tracz, Dr. Alex Wimmer, and Dr. Zack Deininger, the band performs at home football games, bowl games, parades, and special events campus and Manhattan wide. Membership is open to all K-State students by audition, offering opportunities for musicians, color guard, twirlers, and the Classy Cats dance team to showcase their talents and contribute to the vibrant spirit of the university.
