The K-State Concert Band welcomes students from all academic disciplines who want to continue making music at the collegiate level. With a focus on musical growth, collaboration, and community, the ensemble performs a wide range of wind band repertoire—from well-loved classics to fresh, modern works. Rehearsals are designed to be both rewarding and accessible, making the Concert Band a perfect fit for students balancing music with a full academic schedule.

Led by Dr. Zack Deininger, the ensemble provides a relaxed and encouraging environment where students can develop as musicians and performers. The Concert Band performs regularly on campus, offering opportunities to share music with the community and connect with others who share a passion for band.
