πŸ—“οΈ Audition Timeline

1

Pre-Audition Clinics

Early February and March

Optional but highly recommended β€” a great chance to learn directly from current and former Color Guard members, get familiar with the audition material, and develop the technique and style expected of a Color Guard member.

1

Audition Material Submission

Usually due mid-March.

To audition for the K-State Color Guard, applicants must submit an application, a letter of recommendation, and a letter of intent, along with a non-refundable registration fee. In-person auditions typically involve learning and performing a short routine, demonstrating fundamental tosses, and participating in group evaluations, with all materials taught during the audition and resources available online.

3

Audition Invitations Sent

Sent out in early April to those selected for the next round.

4

In-Person Auditions

Mid/Late April

Held on campus and include both individual and group evaluations.
