Spirit. Talent. Tradition.
The K-State Classy Cats are the premier dance team of Kansas State University, bringing energy, spirit, and excellence to athletic events, campus traditions, and community appearances. As part of the Pride of Wildcat Land, the Classy Cats perform at football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, volleyball matches, pep rallies, and other special events throughout the year. Known for their sharp technique, dynamic choreography, and Wildcat pride, they are a vital part of the K-State game-day experience.
In addition to home performances, the Classy Cats proudly represent K-State at postseason bowl games, Big 12 tournaments, NCAA tournaments, and select university and alumni events. Each performance showcases their dedication, discipline, and the tradition of excellence associated with Kansas State University.
Membership in the Classy Cats offers dancers the opportunity to grow as performers, leaders, and ambassadors for the university. Students selected for the team commit to an intensive training schedule, including summer camps, rehearsals, and performances throughout the academic year. Auditions are held annually, and students with a passion for dance, school spirit, and teamwork are encouraged to apply.
