General Pre-College Requirements
- Students must have a 2.75 cumulative HS G.P.A. and receive permission from a parent/guardian and their high school guidance counselor.
- Students can enroll in 100/200 level courses as long as they meet the prerequisites (if any). Math courses do have additional requirements.
- Students wanting to enroll in 300/400 level courses will need special permission.
- Students are limited to 8 credit hours per semester unless special permission is given.
Common Course Requirements and Prerequisites
- CHEM 210 - General Chemistry - One semester of chemistry with a C or higher and Math 100 (or 1.5 years of high school algebra and co-enrollment in a college algebra or two years of high school algebra.
- CC 111- Elements of Computer Programming - Prerequisite or concurrent: CC 110. Students may enroll in CC courses only if they have earned a grade of C or better for each prerequisite to those courses.
- CC 210 - Fundamental Computer Programming Concepts - Prerequisites: CC 111. Students may enroll in CC courses only if they have earned a grade of C or better for each prerequisite to those courses.

ENLG 100 - Expository Writing I - Recommend but not required: B or higher in previous English coursework
- ENGL 200 - Expository Writing II - Prerequisite: ENGL 100.
- MATH 100 - College Algebra - Student must meet at least one of the placement measures to enroll.
