Are you a community college advisor, staff/faculty member, or administrator? Do you assist students through the transfer process? Do you want to know more about how K-State can support your students? K-State’s Transfer Summit could be the event for you!

This event is an opportunity for community college advisors, staff, faculty, and administrators to learn more about K-State and the resources available for transfer students.

Date, Time, and Location

On October 5, 2023, Kansas State University will be hosting their second annual Transfer Summit on our main campus in Manhattan, KS! There will be an additional pre-summit social hour and programming on Wednesday evening, October 4, 2023.

Wednesday, October 4, 2023 (Optional)
On the evening of Wednesday, October 4, we will be hosting a Transfer Summit Welcome Social in Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The evening will include a tour of various K-State Athletics facilities! Following the facility tours there will be a social hour with heavy hors d’oeuvers and drinks. This evening is optional but free to attend.

9:05 AM – Breakout Session 1

9:50 AM – Break

10:00 AM – Breakout Session 2

10:50 AM – Breakout Session 3

1:00 PM - Academic College Information and Browsing Fair

2:30 PM – Optional Campus Tours

Once registered, we will send you details via the email you’ve provided about where to park, how, where to check in, and more.

Registration and Cancellation

  • Registration for the K-State Transfer Summit will close on Friday September 22, 2023, at 3:00 PM. However, if the event fills to capacity earlier, registration access will be removed at that time.
  • In the event of inclement weather, we encourage you to check the K-State website for event updates.
  • Events will be cancelled if K-State is closed. Otherwise, we will email you if an event is cancelled.

Hotel Block
Hotel block information will be provided via email following registration.
