Master's Personal Financial Planning

K-State's master's in personal financial planning is CFP Board-registered, meaning graduates are eligible to sit for the CFP® examination. This program is highly customizable to meet your desired outcome and the skills taught are in high demand.

  1. Concentrations can be combined and include:
    • financial therapy
    • financial planning
    • advanced financial planning

Possible careers include: financial planning, financial counseling, wealth management, estate planning and retirement planning.

Doctorate Personal Financial Planning

This Ph.D. is the first in the nation to be conducted largely online and is registered with CFP Board. It is designed for professionals, like you, who already have busy careers and substantial roots where they live.

Hybrid Format

Online courses are taken during the fall and spring semesters. The summer semesters consist of a 10-day residency.

These certificates can be applied toward the above master's degree.
