Pre-Professional Graduation Cords
The Pre-Professional and Exploratory Advising Center is awarding graduation cords to eligible students. To receive a cord, you must meet all criteria below and submit a brief application form.
Elligibility Requirements
You must meet all of the following by the time of application:
1. Graduating in May, August or December of 2025

- If graduating in August or December, you must have ay least 90 credit hours completed or have applied for graduation

2. Declared Pre-Professional Designation

- You must have declared a designation in Pre-Health, Pre-Vet, or Pre-Law by April 18, 2025 (for Spring graduates)

3. Minimum GPA Requirement

- Minimum 3.0 Kansas State University GPA (as listed on your unofficial transcript)

4. Extracurricular Involvement

- You must have participated in 2 or more extracurricular activities and/or work including but not limited to:

- Part-time job
- Clubs or organizations
- Volunteering
- Shadowing

- You must have participated in 2 or more extracurricular activities and/or work including but not limited to:

5. Advising Meeting Requirement

- You must have met with a Pre-Professional Advisor from the Pre-Professional and Exploratory Advising Center at least once during your undergraduate studies
- The deadline to meet with an advisor is April 18, 2025 (for Spring graduates)

You do NOT need to have a professional school acceptance to be eligible for graduation cords.

Students who meet the required GPA and credit hours requirements will receive an email from their Pre-Professional Advisor after spring break with instructions to apply for graduation cords.
