Dean of Students Outstanding Graduating Senior Award
It is my pleasure to announce this year's selection of the Dean of Students Outstanding Graduating Senior Award, an award given to graduating seniors. This award recognizes our strongest student leaders who have made outstanding contributions to student life during their K-State career. To be considered, a student must have met all of the following criteria:
- An undergraduate who will graduate in spring or summer semester of 2023 or who graduated in fall semester 2022.
- Demonstrated co-curricular leadership having a broad impact on campus student life (or a specific Academic Success and Student Affairs department) and/or initiated or enhanced programs or services improving campus student life.
- Demonstrated ability to impact others different from themselves.
- A statement about why the nominee is highly deserving of this honor.
Academic Success and Student Affairs areas nominated students and the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs committee reviewed the nominations and selected the finalists.
Award recipients will be recognized during an awards ceremony in their honor held on Thursday, April 27th, 3:30-5:00 pm in the K-State Student Union, Flint Hills Rm. Family, Friends, Faculty and Staff are invited to join in the celebration of these students.
The 2023 award winners are: Susanna Black, Christopher Burrell, Cathleen Cowell, Justin Dunham, Jeff Ebeck, Camden Mayfield, Blake Phillips, Natalia Rodriguez, Emmanuel Ugwuegbu, Parker Vulgamore
