Prior to merging into the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs, the Division of Student Life and Office of Student Success recognized staff members for their work. Core Value Awards
In its strategic plan, the Division of Student Life chose a mission statement and core values that acted as guiding principles for division staff to put into practice daily. The Core Value Awards honored those colleagues in the division who personify these core values on a daily basis.
The Division of Student Life will recognized a person or team that exemplified one of the core values in their work during the previous year. Three awards were given annually in the following categories: Care, Community and Collaboration.
Outstanding Staff Awards
The Outstanding Staff Awards recognized one Graduate Student, one New Unclassified Professional, and one Unclassified Professional within the Division of Student Life who had exemplary performance in their role and contributed to the achievement of the Division of Student Life Strategic Goal Areas.
Sincere Appreciation for Student Success
The Sincere Appreciation for Student Success (SASS) Award was an initiative of the Office of Student Success to recognize and celebrate the work of those within the Student Success unit. Members of the Student Success team did extraordinary things every day: SASS was one way Student Success sought to appreciate that work.
