The President's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising

The President's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising recognizes and rewards professional academic advisors who demonstrate excellence in academic advising at K-State. The award recognizes professional advisors whose primary role is the direct delivery of advising services to undergraduate students. Recipients will receive a monetary award of $2,000, supported by the Provost's Office.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any K-State professional academic advisor whose primary role is academic advising of undergraduate students.
  • Nominees must have been employed at K-State at time of nomination for a minimum of three years in a professional advisor role.
  • Previous award winners are ineligible.
  • Nominees must have support of their direct supervisor and have a minimum of 'Meets Expectations' on most recent performance review.

Nominations

Nominations are accepted beginning December 1. All nomination materials must be submitted via Qualtrics by March 1. Questions can be directed to Pamela Erickson, executive director of academic advising.
