Charley Garcia

I was born and raised in Southern California. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma (OU) in May 2026 with a BBA in Marketing and a BA in International Studies. During undergrad, I studied, interned, and worked abroad for a spring semester in Arezzo, Italy. I was both a Community Assistant and a Communications Intern for the OU in Arezzo program. Meaning, I helped my peers adjust to life in the international dorms as well as marketed the study abroad program to students back in the States via social media. On the weekends when I wasn’t working, I backpacked across nineteen countries in Europe. In total, I have been to twenty-three countries and over half of the US states.

My favorite places to travel are throughout Eastern Europe and the Balkans, but I hope to visit East Asia or the Middle East next! Travel has helped me grow as a person and has completely transformed my worldview. I am truly so excited to help you do the same during your time at K-State!
