Originally from a small town in Southeast Wisconsin, I am familiar with the feeling of wanting to get out of my comfort zone and see the world. It wasn’t until the Spring 2016 semester, when I was an undergraduate, that I participated in a Faculty-Led program through the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Over the span of three weeks we traveled to London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Barcelona! The program was the highlight of my undergraduate experience that once I returned to the States, I asked my Global Experiences Coordinator where I could study abroad next. The following summer, I joined USAC’s program in Alicante, Spain which changed the trajectory of my life. After returning home from that program, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in International Education. After working for a bit as a Global Experiences Coordinator at UW-W, I decided to pursue my Master of Education degree at Arizona State University to experience a larger campus (and become a Sun Devil which had always been my dream).
I’ve worked in many offices in higher education administration including Office of Global Experiences, Student Events and Programming, Financial Aid, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Housing, and International Students and Scholars Center. From my wide range of work experiences, I’ve come to the conclusion that the field of International Education is by far my favorite. My goal is to help every student have the same life-changing experiences that I had. Let’s get to know each other and get you abroad – it will definitely change your life for the better!
