Women's Studies Major (B.S. or B.A.)

With a degree in Women's Studies, a graduate is prepared for a variety of career directions, including the administration of women's programs, health or human services fields, education. Women's Studies is also an excellent liberal arts major, providing a firm foundation for graduate work in any professional field or academic discipline. Graduates may continue their studies in Women's Studies or, for instance, in the social sciences, the humanities, law, or a variety of social services or medical fields.

Minor in Women's Studies

Students can also take a 15-credit Minor in Women's Studies. The Minor consists of Introduction to Women's Studies, Senior Seminar in Women's Studies or another approved women's' studies course at the 500 level, and three approved electives from two different disciplines.
