My daughter Heather spent five great years at KSU getting her business/marketing degree. Even before she became a Wildcat, she was crazy about the color purple. One year while she was in middle school, we had Willie the Wildcat surprise her for her birthday at the school. Wow — what a day that was! Weeks following, that was all she could talk about.
While at K-State her clothing selection had to include purple or something with the KSU logo. As her time continued at KSU her Wildcat pride grew and deepened. That pride has ingrained itself into her life. She continues to gather with alumni in her area during all sporting events.
While at work she displays her pride at her desk with co-workers. Her home's exterior and interior rooms show her pride in where she is from and the school she is so proud of. She is a true poster-person for Wildcat pride.
