Student staff positions
Working in the K-State Admissions office is an exciting and rewarding experience for students looking to improve communication and teamwork skills. Staff answer incoming calls and emails from prospective and current students, respond to questions from campus visitors, process applications, transcripts, information requests and mail. Students with an interest in data entry and customer service positions are encouraged to pick up an application at Admissions, 119 Anderson Hall. Applications are accepted anytime.

Technology Support Consultant III - ImageNow Administrator

Position Summary: This position is part of the Technology Management Team in the Office of Admissions. This position is utilized as a technical consultant and analyst for business processes and systems departmental-wide and cross-departmentally. Incumbent will actively participate in the development process of system modifications and special projects affecting iSIS, ImageNow, web applications, Talisma, AutoMate, and WIKI. This position also represents Admissions as the ImageNow workflow and security administrator and ImageNow upgrade project manager. This position serves as a technical resource for promoting the efficiency and accuracy of records processing, and investigates and analyzes problems and inefficiencies. Incumbent must complete KSU Introduction to Supervision Program within six months of employment.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and two years advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Criteria: Application materials will be screened using the following preferred requirements for skills, experience or educational background: Software skills (databases, Excel, imaging software), project management, supervisory skills (provide direction and perform evaluations), data integrity (monitoring and maintaining databases) and written communication skills.
