Cats' Cupboard Ambassadors recruiting for fall 2023

Submitted by Emily Gipson

Cats' Cupboard Ambassadors is a group of students committed to promoting food security at K-State.

The group works to reduce the stigma associated with using the food pantry as a resource, educating the community on food insecurity and food waste, and informing K-Staters about sustainable food practices.

The Ambassadors' main role is to promote Cats' Cupboard through tabling and other outreach activities. Each semester, Ambassadors work on a project to better the food pantry. The Ambassadors attend bimonthly meetings and must volunteer at the pantry at least one hour per week. Applicants must have at least two semesters left at K-State to be considered.

Link to the application. Applications are due Friday, March 24, and interviews will take place March 27 and 28.
