Camilla Roberts to present 'Bringing Integrity Back to Basics'

Camilla Roberts, director of the Honor and Integrity System, will present a need-to-know event, "Bringing Integrity Back to Basics," from noon to 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 4, via Zoom. The presentation is part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series.
The pandemic, political turmoil, artificial intelligence, budget cuts, war, inequities … the list could go on and on to label the many things affecting the educational environment. How can we continue to promote and build a culture of integrity through this changing environment that seems to be pushing against integrity? This talk will explore how, if we bring integrity back to the basics, we have a chance. If we explore integrity through the lenses of fundamental values and through meeting a student where they are in their development, we have a chance to make positive changes for the students we work with. The changing environment is here to stay, but we do not necessarily have to change all of our policies and all of our plans with each change if we focus on the core meaning of integrity.
