All students invited to Live Your Best Life event Oct. 16
Powercat Financial will host its fall signature event, Live Your Best Life, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in the K-State Student Union courtyard on the ground floor.
This event with Meritrust Credit Union is a real-world money management simulation designed for students to help teach important financial education concepts such as budgeting, comparison shopping, and evaluating needs, wants and tradeoffs. Student participants will be assigned a profile detailing an assigned career, income and family information. During the event, students can visit tables that mimic real-life expenses such as clothing, groceries, housing, transportation and more while Powercat Financial's Financial Well-being Ambassadors guide them and offer assistance.
