Mineralogical Society of America distinguished lecturer to give geology seminar

Matthew J. Kohn, professor at Boise State University, will present "How to become a fossil: a geochemist's guide" at 4 p.m. today in 213 Thompson Hall.  

Kohn is a 2012-13 Mineralogical Society of America distinguished lecturer and studies the metamorphic/tectonic evolution of mountain ranges, stable isotopes of vertebrate fossils for paleoclimate and paleoecology, and the geochemistry of metamorphic minerals and fossils. This event is hosted by the department of geology.
