By Anita Cortez

Kansas State University is looking toward the future and 2025. Undergraduate student research is a highly beneficial aspect of the educational experience in preparation for students' next steps, whether that be graduate or professional school or entering industry. The visionary goal of the 2025 plan is that Kansas State University will be among the Top 50 public research universities in the nation.

The Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry is committed to all varieties of undergraduate research from science, technology, mathematics and technology, or STEM, to the arts. Undergraduates are invited to apply for an Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry Research or Travel grant for up to $1,000. All undergraduates in good academic standing, from any major, are invited to apply.

Applications are now being accepted online for funding for the fall 2016 semester. Applications are due April 18.
