By Sarah Hancock

The grain science and industry and food, nutrition, dietetics and health departments, in collaboration with the Office of Corporate Engagement, are sponsoring, "Introduction to PepsiCo R&D and Technology Wants" from 12:30-1:30 p.m. April 7 in the Leadership Studies Building's Town Hall.

Presenters include PepsiCo Global research and development officials Austin Kozman, director of open innovation and alliance management; and Chris Saikus, senior director of strategy and portfolio management. They will discuss PepsiCo's approach to research and development, its focus areas and specific technology wants in food and beverage areas. Attendees also have the chance to ask questions.

"In addition to its well-known carbonated beverages, PepsiCo brands include Frito Lay, Gatorade, Quaker Oats and Tropicana," said Richard Potter, K-State's director of corporate engagement. "The presentation's content will be of interest to a broad range of K-State researchers and students."

Plan to arrive at 12:15 p.m. to enjoy refreshments, meet the presenters and network with fellow faculty and students. Read about the PepsiCo Open Innovation team.
