Internal search for director of sustainability

By Craig Bourne

The Office of the Provost announces an internal search for the director of sustainability. The application deadline is Dec. 11.

The director of sustainability serves as a visionary leader and organizational strategist to advance institutional sustainability efforts at Kansas State University and foster a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, staff and university leaders. The director will be responsible for coordinating strategic relationships and initiatives that further integrate sustainability into the academic and operational functions of the university and advance the goals and outcomes of the K-State 2025 Sustainability Strategic Action Plan.

The director of sustainability search committee invites applications — letter of interest, curriculum vitae and contact information from at least three references — to be submitted as soon as possible. This is an internal search open to current employees of Kansas State University.

The full position description, including required qualifications, may be found on K-State's job opportunities website or on the Provost's website.
