Apply now for professional development grants for advisors
The University Advising Committee requests applications for up to five $700 professional development grants to support participation in external professional and scholarly conferences on academic advising during the 2015 spring/summer semesters. All faculty and staff are eligible to apply.
To apply, please read the guidelines and application instructions posted at undergraduate studies.
The selection committee — Carla Jones, Tanya Gonzalez, Brad Cunningham and Leena Chakrabarti — have set a Monday, March 2, application deadline, and expect to announce awards by Monday, March 30.
Funding is provided by the University Advising Committee, which is supported by student success funds earmarked for such purpose by the provost and senior vice president, and the vice president for student life.
