Procter to introduce film 'Heart of the Matter' Oct. 23

David Procter, director of Kansas State University's Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy, will introduce the film "Heart of the Matter" and moderate a discussion based on the film at the Kansas Humanities Council special event at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home. The event will be inside the Visitors Center, 200 S.E. Fourth St., Abilene.

"Heart of the Matter" is a short film created by the National Commission on Humanities and Social Sciences. A reception begins at 6 p.m.
