Developing Scholars undergraduate research symposium April 13

Submitted by Anita Cortez

The Developing Scholars Program's 14th annual research poster symposium will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in the K-State Union Ballroom. Remarks begin at 2 p.m.

Undergraduates will present their research projects to the public. All colleges are represented. The University Distinguished Faculty Award for Mentoring of Undergraduate Students in Research and the University Distinguished Undergraduate Student in Research Award will be presented. Faculty, graduate students and the public are invited to come view the research in which K-State undergraduates are engaged.

Research posters will range from the STEM disciplines to the humanities and the arts. Presenters are freshmen through seniors. Faculty are encouraged to invite their students to come view the wide range of research as a means of introducing more undergraduates to the possibilities of research.
