Title IX training for all faculty, staff

Submitted by Ameerah McBride

The office of institutional equity — formerly affirmative action — is now offering Title IX training to all faculty and staff here at K-State.

As you may know, Title IX is the federal law that requires colleges and universities to investigate allegations of sexual violence and to educate students, faculty and staff on the Title IX resources available to them.

Through collaboration with the new learning and development program manager Shanna Legleiter, faculty and staff will be able to log in to the self-service section of HRIS and register for the training. The first course will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday, March 10, in Room 226 at the K-State Student Union.
