'Advising in iSIS' training sessions Feb. 11 and 13

By Fred Darkow

Training sessions for "Advising in iSIS" are now available.  If you are a full-time advisor or a faculty advisor and would like to learn common advising processes, select a session and sign up in HRIS.

All iSIS training sessions are in 9 Fairchild Hall.  The available times are

  • Tuesday, Feb. 11, 10:30 a.m.-noon
  • Thursday, Feb. 13, 1:30-3 p.m.

Topics covered during the sessions include, but are not limited to:

  • Running a DARS audit
  • Viewing student information
  • Removing the Advisor flag
  • Student photos

A preview of the new KSU Advisor Center will also be shared so advisors can see the future of advising in iSIS.

For more information on advising processes, go to k-state.edu/isis/help/advisors. Other iSIS classes are posted at k-state.edu/isis/training.

If the available training sessions do not meet your schedule, please contact Fred Darkow, fdarkow@k-state.edu, 785-532-3138 for further training options.
