Megan Clark
State Director

Megan (Christensen) Clark is originally from Overland Park, Kansas. As a high school graduate from Blue Valley High School, she was awarded one of the first of Kansas State University's most prestigious scholarship, the Kassebaum Scholarship.  She graduated from K-State Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Education and was recognized as Outstanding Education Graduate.  She was a member of Mortar Board, the academic honorary that hosts the Kansas Academic Decathlon.

Megan worked as a professional Admissions Representative for Kansas State University for two years, connecting with high school counselors, students and parents from across the state. More recently she has taught art education to elementary students at Clear Creek Elementary in Shawnee, Kansas, in the De Soto School District .  In 2007 Megan was recognized by her district as a Teacher of Excellence.  Megan holds a Master's Degree in School Leadership and has completed the De Soto School District Administrative Development Series.

Megan comes to the state director position after serving as a board of directors member for the Kansas Academic Decathlon.
