Education is experience.

Your education starts long before you enroll at Kansas State University. At K-State, we value your prior learning — those lessons you learned through your job, service to your country, volunteer experiences and more. We're proud to offer our students numerous options to assess your prior learning experiences for academic credit.

The following tests are available in many disciplines to excuse students from courses in which they are already proficient: Advanced Placement (AP), College Learning Examination Program (CLEP), DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST), and International Baccalaureate.
