Temporary/Visitors Parking Permit Prices
Quick Tips for Visitors
1. What is a Visitor?
Visitors are defined as people who are not Faculty/Staff or Students of KSU and not currently employed by KSU as vendors/contractors.
2. What Visitors Need?
A Permit! Permits are required to park on Kansas State University campus from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for resident hall lots which are patrolled 24 hours and metered lots. Visitor permits can be purchased for five dollars a day.
3. Where are they Valid?
Visitor permits are valid in the following areas: Any student, housing and faculty/staff parking lots, designated with the signs J, O, R, T, W or Z. Visitor permits are not valid in Service Vehicle areas, Reserved Parking areas or Meter Parking.
4. Where Can I Get a Visitor Permit?
Visitor permits may be obtained from the Information Kiosk on 17th Street adjacent to the garage from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm M-F, from the Parking Services Office at 1 KSU Parking Garage at the corner of 17th and Anderson from 7:30 am to 5 pm M-F, and are available 24/7 from the KSU Police Dispatch located in Edwards Hall. They can also be purchased online and printed out by clicking on K-State Online Parking.
If your destination is the Testing Center at 2323 Anderson Avenue, visit K-State Testing Services Payment Center to order a parking permit.
5. One Last thing?
Visitors are required to obey all posted parking and traffic regulations.
