Parking Services

Purchase permits, plan for your visit and see all rules and regulations for parking at Kansas State University.

  • The Parking Service office will be closed, and the parking portal will be unavailable from 2 p.m. until the end of the afternoon on Friday, March 13, due to server upgrades. However, parking enforcement will continue as usual during this time.
  • Your permit allows up to 2 vehicles. To add your new vehicle, you'll first need to remove one of your current vehicles. Here is how: https://www.k-state.edu/parking/manage-parking-account/
  • Individuals who repeatedly park in client or reserved stalls without a valid permit, allow meters to expire, or fail to pay garage fees will be subject to escalating fines. Paying the same fine for each violation will no longer be permitted. Repeat offenses will result in progressively higher penalties.
  • The Manhattan campus has upgraded its parking meters to accept cashless payments, allowing users to pay with credit and debit cards. This modernization eliminates the need for coins and offers digital payment options, including tap-to-pay functionality.

Parking Permits

Students, faculty and staff can order a permit in the Parking Portal. Please be sure to have your vehicle make, model and license plate number ready when ordering. Students must be enrolled and have their housing arrangements in place before ordering a permit. A confirmation email is sent after the online process is completed.
