Number of Employees (Includes all full and part time faculty, professionals, clerical, and laborer workers). (As of November 1 each year). The Human Resources Survey is one of a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), a part of the Institute for Education Sciences within the United States Department of Education.
Faculty includes anyone with a faculty title, instructor through full professor, who is primarily involved in instruction, research, and/or public service. Library faculty and Housing and Dining faculty are excluded from the faculty counts by definition.
