Workshop
On Thursday, November 29 at 2 p.m., in Union Room 226, we will be hosting a workshop about how to plan a successfull event. Learn from the experts as members of the Union Program Council will present about planning and promoting a successful event. No need to sign up in advance, the workshop is open to as many members of your organization as would like to attend.
Wildcat Winter Expo and Activities Carnival
The Wildcat Winter Expo and Activities Carnival will be held on January 24, 2013, the first Thursday of classes. Its time again for student organizations to register to participate. Organizations wishing to sign up can do so by completing the online form, calling 785-532-6541, or emailing osas@ksu.edu.
The Winter Expo and Activity Carnival runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Union. Groups can begin setting up at 5:00 PM. Starting at 5:00 we will have staff available to check you in and point you towards your table. Tables will not be ready before that. As always, you will have 6 or 8 feet of table space and two chairs. We can make no guarantees of electrical connections or other accommodations due the number of participants. Please DO NOT ask the union to set up electrical, internet or other connections as they will be unable to accomodate all the organizations. As always though there is wireless internet if you are hoping to use a laptop. Also, due to the limited space, please do not plan on having floor displays, you are limited to the space of your table.

is a current student at Kansas State University and has been personally impacted by
distracted driving. She can be seen on AT&T commercials promoting safe texting practices.
The event is planned by Alpha Kappa Alpha.

from Carmine Famiglietti to speak about his movie and personal experiences. There
will also be a question and answer following the movie. The event is planned by Sensible
Nutrition and Body Image Choices (SNAC).

| March 12, 2013 | PEER Awareness Reality Check PEER Awareness is a nationally recognized organization that is dedicated to educating
youth about healthy decisions while providing an entertaining experience to students.
This event will allow students the opportunity to learn about the risks of drugs and
alcohol.

As an effort to keep student organization aware of events other organizations are planning, the newsletter will include a list of student organization events. All on-campus events funded by Student Governing Association will automatically be listed. If you'd like to have another event listed please email osas@ksu.edu.
Student Organization Newsletter
The Student Organization Newsletter is a bi-weekly email sent to the presidents and advisors of registered student organizations at Kansas State University. The goal of the newsletter is to keep the number of emails about information and events to a minimum while still keeping organizations informed about relevant information.
The newsletter will be sent out every two weeks. Please take the time to look over the information and the upcoming dates which will be listed in the right column. If you have some information you would like to share with other organization please email it to osas@ksu.edu to see if it can be included.
