Friday and Saturday

For sophomores only

Learn about college life at this Friday evening and Saturday morning program that gives you time to explore K-State's Open House. Friday events include group activities, interaction with current college students and a dance/social. On Saturday morning students participate in Virtual College, a two-hour simulation of a year as a college student, and parents participate in a seminar about admissions, financial aid and scholarships. Out-of-state students and families reception

Enjoy refreshments and meet other out-of-state students and campus representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing and academic departments. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. in the Cottonwood Room, second floor, Student Union.

Multicultural students and families reception

Enjoy refreshments and meet other students and campus representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing and academic departments. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. 10 to 11 a.m. in the KSU Ballroom, second floor, Student Union.

Transfer students and families reception

Meet other transfer students and campus representatives from admissions, financial aid, housing and academic departments. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. 11:15 to noon in the Flint Hills Room, second floor, Student Union.

Ready, set, check-in! Show you are a true Proven Powercat by completing the K-State Open House Scavenger Hunt on foursquare. Be one of the first to earn the official K-State foursquare badge on April 20 and be eligible for Open House prizes!

To get started, download the foursquare app on your smart phone and create an account. Find the K-State foursquare page and "like" us. Visit venues on the K-State Open House Scavenger Hunt list and check in at five of the 12 designated locations to earn the badge!
