was struck by a 7.9 richter scale on the afternoon of 25th April 2015.
Thousands of people lost their lives on this unfateful disaster. The
country is struggling to provide rescue services in many parts of
country. Various international organizations and neighboring countries
(India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China etc.) have already sent their
prayers and manpower to help us in time of need. But, thousands of them
are still stranded on the open grounds without food and shelter who
could survive with your invaluable help. Please go to "Help Rebuild
Nepal (Earthquake 2015)"
link on the sidebar of this page to see ways
you could contribute and help us fight this challange.
Student Association (NSA) at Kansas State University was established in
the summer of 2006 as a need to organize the burgeining Nepali
Community became obvious. It became a part of the university family as
it was installed as a registered student association. Its main
objective, therefore, is to serve the Nepali community of the Nepalese
Student population as well as thier family and friends. We provide
information and assistance to new members of the community. We seek to
be a forum which could inform and educate about Nepali identity, its
unique culture and heritage. We also strive to join hands with other
organizations and partake in various programs to benefit the student
population at large.
We encourage you to join Nepalese Student Association at KSU on facebook
