Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning
Victoria L. Clegg
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at Kansas State University was established in 1993 by the provost to work in a variety of ways with individual faculty and academic units to maintain a priority position for undergraduate teaching and learning on the university's agenda.
The center coordinates the exchange of ideas on undergraduate teaching and learning among faculty and administrators across the campus community and champions these themes centrally. The center is responsible for the administration of the student ratings system, the development of the K-State academic advising and university general education Web sites and the central administration's governance for university general education.
In addition, the Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning provides support for both the Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence and the Instructional Design and Technology Roundtable to plan and host teaching-related workshops and seminars for faculty on campus.
