Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015

MANHATTAN — Five-time Grammy Award winner the Robert Cray Band, with special guest Shemekia Copeland, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the McCain Auditorium as part of Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series.

Cray fuses rock, soul, jazz, gospel, funk, and rhythm and blues. In honor of his work, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.

Copeland recently opened for the Rolling Stones and has scored critics' choice awards on both sides of the Atlantic. She also has shared the stage with music luminaries such as Buddy Guy, B.B. King and John Mayer.

Tickets for the Robert Cray Band start at $12.50 plus applicable taxes and fees, and are available now at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428.
