Attempted aggravated robbery reported on campus

MANHATTAN -- The Kansas State University Police is investigating an attempted aggravated robbery that occurred around 8 a.m. Sept. 28 in the central part of campus.

The victim, who was a student, stated an unknown male demanded money. There were no weapons involved and the victim suffered minor injuries from a scuffle with the suspect. The victim described the suspect as male of an unknown race approximately 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt.

This case is under investigation and no further description of the suspect is known. Anyone with information about this crime should contact the campus police department at 785-532-6412. Anonymous tips can be left at www.ksu.edu/police/silent.
